Tomorrow is Judgment day, examination lor…what else? Had been studying the past few days but also guilty of dozing off in many occasions. It’s been more than 3 years ago since I sat for an examination. I’m still munching my notes now…how come the notes like so much ah? Maybe I should just burnt them in water and drink them. =p
Never update my blog yesterday because I’m too sleepy and partially in a foul mood. Slept rather early last night and managed to be an early bird today.
I’m chatting with this old friend of mine online while I’m blogging right now. He’s quite a okay chap until recently I found out what he had been doing behind my back. He’s been making friends through my friendster contacts, getting their numbers. I just feel weird and “raped” of my friends? Haha..okay, he aren’t doing anything wrong but maybe I too old fashioned bah. I’ll never resort to such “guerilla tactics”, haha. However, I think he’s kind of desperate man. I do hope I’m too sensitive.
I was doing research on camera phones again just now and still in a dilemma on what model to get. I’m really indecisive when it came to making decisions, that’s one of the traits of a Libran. What I’m really looking for is a phone which had good shuttering functions and stylish design. Any suggestions from hp freaks out there?
Okie…going back to my books now. I’m going to skip the 7pm Chinese drama but no way I’m going the missed the 9pm one with Edmund Chen in it. The theme song of this show is really nice too and sung by Lin Jun Jie. Tomorrow bah, after my paper I’ll go get it from Chinatown.

Freezing cold, really felt like an Eskimo in K-Box earlier this afternoon. Spent the whole day out with Phyllis today and we went crooning at Lucky Chinatown. The air conditioned there was so cold lor…I was like trembling throughout the session, having my palms underneath my thighs. Haha…
For those who knew me, I’m a disaster when come to singing. I can’t sing and the worst part is, I can’t read the Chinese words! I really sympathizes with Phyllis for enduring my torrid croaking, but thank god I’m born rather thick skinned. Guys, you all can tease and suan me all you want but I can still sing happy go lucky. =p
After the ktv session, we went to the famous Chinatown Porridge stall to have dinner. I realized that I do not have enough cash with me and went in search for a UOB ATM machine. Searched like siao but can’t find one! As a result, I had only enough money to pay for the meal but not the drinks. Phyllis had to pay for the drinks instead. Arrgg….I was like so pathetic just now, so lose face sia.
After dinner, we shopped around Chinatown for awhile before we go Plaza Singapura. Over there, we shopped around and it’s the Singapore Great Sale now. The whole complex was so crowded, hard to believe man. Went to look at hand phones, really want to buy a camera phone but yet indecisive once again on which model to buy. Seems I got to do more homework before I go look the next time. As we made our way to Heeren to get a new battery for my Swatch watch, we were approached by people promoting products for colored hairs. After some psycho by the promoters, both Phyllis and I bought each. Practically after getting the watch working again, I sent her home.
Treatment Water
It is supposed to repair and nourish coloured damaged hair. It can also be used to style one's hair with a fragrance. Too good to be real?
A sample of Treatment Essence
It's to restore coloured damaged hair to soft, smooth, and healthy condition.

Professional sia...seeing is not believing yet, I try liao then tell you guys. =p
Hmm….There’s something I really wish to blog about gals today. I feel that gals are really weird creatures who are like chameleons. They can be so demure at times but the next moment, they just snapped and morph into another personality.
In the Bible, Genesis, it’s Eve who listened to the serpent and defied God by tempting Adam to consume apples from the tree of knowledge. It’s all because of Eve, God banished both of them to earth and cause us all to be born with sins.
Aiya….Don’t think I want talk too much about gals if not I’ll be deemed as a MCP or sexist. Okay gals, guys aren’t any better. I agree with you guys are jerks and our sweet nothings should be taken with a pinch of salt. However, BGR are meant to be this way and there are ought to be tears of joy and sorrow down a person’s love life.
Fate stays beckon and do not despair. As for those who are happily attached, treasure your partner well and do not set expectations. Always use a magnifying glass to look at your partner’s positive points and turn a blind eye to their negatives.

The wait for the doctor is bloody long and I can go berserk if I go on sitting down there like an idiot. While the queue is still long, I made my way to a nearby shop which sells pirated games and software.
It was raided!~!~! Hai..I wanted to buy a software to learn photoshop one, next time bah. The doctor changed my Ah gong quite fast and I’m relived to hear that my ah gong’s foot is recovering. I love my family and so do they love me. =D
After reached home, I buried myself in my books again but I seem to do that so well that I was buried asleep. Haha. Yeah…I’m the lazy worm again, doze off while studying. I think I took a 2 hr nap but I woke up feeling restless. Know what, I wore my socks, stuffed into my running shoes and went for a run.
I hate running, it was so boring but don’t understand why some people still love running. Even Reiko and Nadia go running frequently. Arrgg…must buck up or my IPPT test will…..it will flop! I took a camera with me and it was an interesting run, let the pictures tell the story:
Start: Tiong Bahru
Destination: Merlion
Distance: *unknown*
Alkaff Bridge
ORD Bridge
Should have come this bridge to take a photo to celebrate my ORD last year. Hee..
Cavenage Bridge
Fullerton Bridge
Sunset from the bridge
Beach Bar
I often came here in the past to watch soccer matches, nice place with good ambience. It's located at Robertson Quay Hotel, very near to db0.
Clarke Quay
A shot of Clarke Quay. Don't those shop houses look like coloured lego bricks?
Crabbing
Hey, look what I sighted. That rope is evident that someone is crabbing here. Haven't done so for a long time, perhaps will try that again someday. Oh yeah, must prepare lotsa of smelly shark meat to use as baits!
Kitty in a cage
Actually I got a potential award winning photo to take one, no thanks to 2 ang mohs who machiam no see cats before. As I'm about to snap the cat inside the "cage", it was coaxed out by the "extras" Hrmmp....
The next S'pore Idol?
This chap can actually sing well...I was appreciating the American Pie he sung as I jogged past the tunnel.Too bad I don't have a single penny with me.
My daddy owns this bridge =p
At that moment, had the idea of taking this photo in the middle of the road. Am I crazy?
Flying Saucer
Hey, I've never realised that there's this flying saucer alike building before. The movie "Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" came to my mind as I took this picture.
Night Scene of Boat Quay
Used to be a hangout for cheongsters, now it's more of restaurants for the ang mohs.
Sir Stamford Raffles
The chap who founded Singapore, born in a ship, died a bankrupt.
Merlion
Managed to snap the merlion before my battery went flat. Phwee...
Actually I just came back from supper with my neighbour Adrian, who's also a good friend of mine. He gave me a sales presentation on the product he's selling, magnetic stuffs. That reminds me of my stint with Astra Mag. I just had too soft of a heart and I bought a magnetic pillow from him just to help him. It's not cheap !! =x
Actually I resisted buying a camera phone for months as I can't bear to part with the money but yet I readily buy the pillow just for friendship, knowing he really needs the sale. Am i foolish or what? Haiz...I treasure friendship too much.
He's a very street smart chap who's really determined and hardworking and I really wish to see him succeed. I hope this gesture of mine will lift him to a bright future. =)
*Yawn* ....Nappy time...ZZzzZZzzz....

Today was supposed to be another day of studying at home but I’m guilty of paying too much attention to this blog of mine. It has a new facelift and I’m pretty pleased with it the exception of archives. I’m still figuring how to do it and it’s so frustrating. Went to catch “Monster in Law” with Reiko and Nadia in the evening but I was late once again. =p
We had dinner at Cineleisure Food court and I ordered Laksa. Nadia commented that my hair look different today and it’s nicer. She also said I looked gayish, no way man! I believe she meant I’m metrosexual. Haha..Here is a definition of metrosexual from the Wikipedia Encyclopedia.
Metrosexual: refers to an urban male of any sexual orientation who has a strong aesthetic sense and spends a great deal of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle. He is the fashion-conscious target audience of men's magazines:
The movie was good and funny but if only we aren’t sitting in the first row. It’s not as bad as my previous experience but it’s still a bit straining for my neck. Reiko was still drinking her star fruit juice after the movie had ended, that’s very her. Haha. We took some pictures again just now and one of it was so embarrassing to take. Below are some of the photos taken:
I don't look gayish in this picture right?
Nadia & I playing animals......
Another Photoshop masterpiece by Nadia .....
It’s bedtime for me, no burning of midnight oil for me. 5 chapters studied and 8 more to go..gambate!!

I’m back from home after lunch with my colleagues and before that my interview. I went for an Interview this morning at Thomson Road and I’m still having difficulty in remembering the name of the statutory board which I’m applying for, and that’s Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports. I took a cab there this morning and the taxi uncle dunno where the hack is MCYS lor…I changed cab and the 2nd taxi driver also don’t know! Fortunately I reached there punctually if not will have left a bad impression already.
The interview was short and conducted by 3 interviewers. The interviewers really got the “HR look” in them lor, can’t imagine myself in the mould of them. =p They are very smart and asked filtering questions. However, I think I handle them quite well bah, I’m keeping my fingers crossed now. After the interview, wan meet Reiko and Nadia for lunch but who knows Johnston and Ida joined in as well. Aiya…got restrictions liaoz, can’t anyhow talk.
Actually want write my bloggy last night one, but doze off…no thanks to my sister who occupied the computer. Had a great outing yesterday with my crazy lunch gang yesterday at Marina South. We started off with kite flying but the stupid kite is stubborn, and we can’t seem to get the kite up flying. We approached a uncle who corrected us our mistake and in no time, our kite is up soaring the skies!
Bowling is next after kite flying. Nadia refused to bowl but she can’t escape our clutches lor. Reiko can bowl better than me and Nadia, the sight of long kang to me aren’t uncommon for me already. Not long later, our stomach is growling already. We had steamboat at Dragon Village. We really ate to our fill and had durian ice-cream for desserts. We ended our day at the arcades playing Daytona and a shooting game. I emerge 1st in Daytona but first to die in the shooting game. The two gals can really shoot man!

I feel so sad at the thought that we are going our separate ways. Sharing the same sentiments as Nadia in her blog, I agree that this is the best lunch gang I ever had. The chemistry between us really sparks and it’s comfortable with them. I shall give my tribute to this two gals too, best kakis one can dream for.
Nadia – A vain, chirpy and bubbly gal who really likes accessories (big earrings), takes pictures with her Nokia 6260. She likes to eat prawn but don’t like to peel them, what the hack! Always helpful in work and chatty after work and never fails to nudge me in MSN. Her star shines brightly among the other stars in MediaWorks, all the best in her endeavors.
Reiko – A chubby, cute and sweet gal who is really smart. She’s going to NTU next year, furthering her studies in the accounting faculty. We got to know each other more when we are both sent to Galileo Course for four days. While Nadia loves prawns, Reiko is allergic to prawns. She drink water very slow 1 lor….must have lotsa patience waiting for her to finish. Haha. She’s the youngest among us and we dote on her 1 lor. I can see a bright future for her in the accounting world of numbers and balance.
Though separation is inevitable, I believe none of us will forgot the happy moments we spent together in Novena vicinity. Really looking forward towards our next outing and down the years too. =)

It has been ages since I last blog and that was about 2 months ago? I’m going to do blog again on this lazy Sunday, feeling really lazy now. Later still meeting Pei Wei and Jin Cai to go Sentosa recce for our planned chalet in June. We are going to cycle later and hope the sun wouldn’t be scorching hot lor.
With the absence of almost 2 months here, there are too much happenings for me to jot it down. Yesterday was the last day of my stint in UOB Travel Planners. The resignation was sweet after my torrid days there but however I feel really sad with the parting of my lunch gang. Sign….From next week, 3 of us are going different ways. Nadia going to start her career with Media Corp while Reiko will be starting her university studies in NTU. As for me, I will be looking for greener pastures. The 3 of us have chemistry lor, really enjoyed their company. Well, there’s a Chinese saying, “天下没散的宴席” ,there’s no never ending farewell dinner in the world. Tomorrow we are going out on an outing to prawn, cycle and then dinner at fisherman village, looking forward to that!
Nadia, Reiko, Me
Nadia's farewell gift for us
After known my “mei”, Yiyang for almost 5 months through friendster, we finally met up last Sunday. She brought 2 friends with her, Esther and Lu Sha. The meet up was pleasant but the movie we want to watch was sold out lor. We also took neo prints together but I was given the smallest ones! So unfair…haha. We then went Heeren to window shop and eventually had tea at Crown Prince Swenson. My mei was rather quiet but okay lah, maybe she shy bah, or maybe I too thick skin liao. After the tea, we go on separate ways as I meeting other friends. Hopefully she will be less shy in future. Haha.
