Haha…I’m finally updating my blog after a week of absence. This past week I’ve been working temp with GE Finance, inside Bedok Singpost. This temp job is well super suxy lor. I’m required to stand for 8 hours daily, attending to walk in applicants for Ezycash loan.

I was quite surprised with the type of people coming to apply for loans. Some of these applicants were bloody hell earning 4-5k per month while some were really in dire need, earning less than 1k per month, but got several mouths to feed. There were few instances when the rich ones came for loan but yet still so snobbish. I really felt let spiting them on the spot and rejecting them away. Want borrow money still so “yaya” attitude. Fuck Off!!!

Today very drama lor…got a lady came to apply for loan but end up quarrelling with my relationship officer, Kelvin. The conversation goes like this…..

Kelvin: I noticed that your hp bill was several hundreds overdue, why don't you repay it?

Lady: I’m a starhub staff and my hp bills were sponsored by my company.

Kelvin: Then why doesn’t your bill reflect that?

Lady: It’s because I told Starhub not to deduct from the bill.

Kelvin: Huh….that’s interesting…..

Lady: Interesting??? You are trying to insult me?

Kelvin: I never had the intention. I can’t process the application for you.

(I can’t remember what the conversation is but it continues as …..)

Lady: You better watch out your customer service, it’s horrible.

Kelvin: Sure.

Lady: Sure??? You are not remorseful at all. (She storms off)

(The lady tried to complain Singpost staffs but to no avail as they have no control over our counter. She left the Post office but I noticed her in a guy’s shoulder crying outside shortly after. Not long after, the man stormed in)

Man: Who’s the one who assisted my wife just now?

Kelvin: I’m the one sir.

Man: So you are the one who insulted my wife…My wife is crying outside now,Who the fuck you think you are?

Kelvin: I never insulted her.

Man: I’m a customer and you are the one providing service to me, you better get this clear.

Kelvin: I’m sorry sir.

Man: I traveled around the world and I get this service from you?? Who’s the manager here? I want to speak to him.

Kelvin: There’s no manager here.

Man: What’s your name? I want to complain against you. I’m going to make a big case out of it.

Kelvin: This is my name card, sorry sir

Man: Stop apologizing to me! You gona get it from me. (Storms off)

Well…this incident sums up the job nature of a customer service job, SHIT WORK. From my travel planner experience, I’ve known customer service is like that one. If you want to succeed in customer service, you got to be the type when customer spit at your face, you just wiped it off and smiled back at the customer.

Gggrrr…..it really needs lots of patience and a thick skin to survive man.

Just now feeling bor lioa….thus took my sister’s hp to take pictures. Hee, I’m been “Zi Lian” again right? No lor…Photos are great source of memories which u can dug up many years later.

Keke…..Say Cheese!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sick....with a sore throat. There's 2 type of illness which I hate most and they are sore throat and sore eye. Why these two? I'm sure everyone knows that sore throat take ages to recover and what if my friends want jio me go ktv?? I'll be so sad one lor...nowadays I seem to fell in love with KTV, haha...maybe can take part in the next Singapore Idol or Superstar if there will be vast improvement in my singing. Haha...I shall dream on....

As for sore eye, it goes years back to my secondary school days. There was once I got infected with sore eye. I though it was just a small matter and never thought much about it.Guess what...there was an inflammation to it and my retina's cover was teared. I thought I was going to be blind when the doctoer told me the condition.

Wah...that was scary and my eyes were bandaged for almost 1 month. For 30 days, I was just like a blind man.I can't do anything by myself, the feeling was helpless man. Nowdays I very kiasu liao, once eyes red red and I'll go apply eyedrops.

Talking about blind, I did a good deed yesterday. I was taking the mrt back home and came across a blind man in the same carriage. He alighted off the same station as me and I offered to help him. Although he's independent and have the courage to travel around with the guidance of his walking stick, I can sense the gratitude and relief he felt when he grabbed my arms.

There are so many people out there who are blind and I can't imagine if a baby is born blind. He/she will never see how colourful this world is. I shall be a volunteer one of these days, bringing colours to needy peoples' lives.

I've collected some "msn art pieces" from some friends of mine and thus I presented them here...........

Enjoy viewing~~~ =)

Lost And Found

I’ve lost a friend of 8 years….or shall I say he’s missing? He seems to have vanished from this world since last Sunday. The last time we came out together was last Saturday night where we went KTV. I remembered we having fun and I didn’t sense anything amiss that night until Sunday, he left some last words for a common friend of us. He claimed he was betrayed and people were jealous of him. These last words left all of us baffled and puzzled.

Since that day, he never appeared online in msn already. Attempts to reach him by handphone or home reached to no avail.

Do you know that I’m truly worried about you? I thought a mishap had happen to you, which I can’t bear to think of. I was the one to sense your disappearance and get the others to reach you but to no avail.

I might be building a mountain out of a mole hole but I can’t help it. We are friends of so many years, the enjoyable time we had playing soccer after school everyday. I admit your disappearance left a void in my life.

However on Saturday night, I found some clues which might explain for your disappearance. I was in friendster, was viewing your profile when I noticed your last login was Saturday itself. I recalled that I saw your log in was on Friday night too but I never really gave it a second thought. So you have been online all these while, but yet you appear offline to us in MSN. I’m sorry but I suspected you block us. I hope it’s over suspicion on my part.

Reading your friendster profile, I noticed something new. In it you said, “You hated those red eye people and will never want to contact them again”. Hmm….I can’t help but linked that to what you told that common friend of ours in MSN last saturday. I chatted with a good friend of ours yesterday night and he deemed your disappearance to our chat that night of setting up a business in which you thought you were omitted out, or is it just pure coincidence?

Have you really been avoiding us?

Okay, you have since emerged from your disappearance since yesterday to some of our friends execpt to us, who were together with you that Saturday night. What really pissed you off, I don’t know, we don’t know.

We have been friends for 8 years already, I treasure our friendship. So are the others, although as guys, we may find it hard to swallow our pride to admit so. I hope our assumptions are all wrong.

I know you are reading this entry somewhere, sometime. We hope to hear from you soon…..

Updates…..okay, here it comes. I reckon if I don’t post an update any sooner, there’ll be more nagging to come. I’m sending out resumes today once again, send till pek chek lor. I’ve lost count of the number of resumes I’ve sent out but my phone never rang at all except for a number. *Ahem*

Some of my kakis should know who that person is. Someone should just give that person a piece of her mind and ask her to stop being such a nuisance, only Peiwei can tolerate her. Okay I may sound nasty but I think she deserved that.

I’m actually now still recuperating from the activities over the weekend; it’s been a long time since I slept so late for two nights. On Friday night my friends and I went pubbing, the venue was initially Boat Quay but someone threw a BIG aeroplane lor. Hmm…every time got people throw aeroplane one leh. That time KTV is Yiyang, now is Rufang…the next one who throw aeroplane will get it from me!

We thought of going Eskibar but it was fully occupied, we decide to hop a cab down to Tanjong Pagar and check out the other outlet. It’s fully occupied too and we just strolled down the street and find another area to chill it out. We eventually went to this KTV Pub called 69 Bonkers and oh my….it’s rather happening.

I used to thought that I’ll never find myself singing in a KTV Pub or lounge area as there will be other people too. Hey, it’s quite an experience and I think I sang rather okay lor. =p It was rather fun and we left at 1 am, went to kopitiam to chat and sober up.

The rest came over my house to ton and we slept at 5am…only to wake up at 10am to prepare go canoeing! Eric and Yanpei went home while Macro and I went to meet Michelle (Macro’s gf) and the Choon bros at East Coast to canoe.

It’s my 1st time kayating and it’s not as fun as I thought man. At first I was paranoid whether the canoe will overturn in the open sea but my worries were in vain. It was very safe but tiring. I wonder how did Choon Hwa and Choon Keong paddle so fast, I had a hard time catching up with them man. Arrgg…

The kayating trip was interesting nevertheless but we never made it to our destination, “Gay Beach” as Macro got seasick midway and even throw out the mee goreng he ate early, Eeeee…….gross.

Macro swore not to go kayating ever again…..haha.

After the showering, we took a cab down to Suntec and met up with Yanpei, Eric and Peiwei. We had dinner then went Marina to play pool and arcade. We spent quite a lot on Daytona racing, competing against each other. After all the fun, we went to Middle Road for prata session. After hours of chat, I finally can go home sleep. =)

John wept as he puffed his life away. He is now just a shadow of his past, looking haggard and scrawny.

His marriage is in the rocks, brothers and sisters avoiding him like a plague, nothing but troubles looms on his horizon. It was only like yesterday when life seems so rosy and promising. Suave and tanned, he used to be a lady’s man. He loves partying and drives a convertible. His marriage was like a match made in heaven when he married Kris, a ravishing model.

She gave birth to a son and ventured into a business partnership with a friend. The toiling and overtime left Kris with hardly any time for both John and their baby boy. John felt neglected and the relationship with Kris becoming so distant.

His ego was also upset with the greater success Kris had in her career and there came the breaking point, when he can’t take it anymore. He seeks legal advice for a divorce but still he lost custody of his son.

Devastated with the loss of his son, he turned to liquor and soccer betting to forget his worries. Every night he will end up in a drunkard stupor, going work with a hangover.

Lady luck smiled on him as he won matches after matches. He began to increase his wager and eventually became a bookie when he found out it’s a very lucrative business.

Never did he know that gambling will be the turning point of his life, causing it to go spiraling down to a wreck……..

Chalet Day 1

Finally!! That Choon Hwa finally sent me the photos taken during the chalet. K finally update this piece of memory here. Over the weekend, some close pals of mine and I had a chalet in East Coast and it started off in the most bizarre manner.

On Friday afternoon I met up with Teng Loke and Jincai in Geylang Sari to buy the necessary BBQ stuffs for the chalet. When we reached there, no one had the “To buy items list”! Oh my god…I was like in disbelief but no other choices, we got to go browse and make my selections on the spot. It wasn’t easy and in the process, we missed out certain items. Etc. Satays and Otahs. Still we managed to buy most of the items and made our way there in Loke’s lorry.

After the 3 of us reached there, we settled down and waited for the other lads to come after work. While we waited for them, we played Winning Eleven, a soccer game on the Playstation 2. As soon as Peiwei and Eric came after work, it was rather late and we had dinner at the Bedok Jetty Food Centre. We ordered quite a feast from our chalet fund and the chilli sting ray and sotong were really hot, we were perspiring like in a sauna man.

We spent the night playing video games and card games. I was playing Dai Dee with Choon Hwa and Jincai and I was formidable! Believe it or not, I kept on winning them and they can’t believe it and commented I must have ghost with me to assist me. Wah lao…come chalet say such thingy, touch wood! Tsk tsk …

Using Choon Hwa’s camera, we took lotsa of photos and some are rather funny. Also exclusively, there’s a limited edition gay photos taken that night! We believed it was taken so well that it looked like a gay portfolio. Haha….

3 siao kias

Gay Portfolio 1

Gay Portfolio 2

We also went to play pool at around 1am. Although I don’t really like playing pool, I join in a game. Almost won but end up losing on hitting the black ball into hole. It was the accompany that matters and we had lotsa of laughters. =)

Pei Wei aiming for white ball to go in pocket. Hehe.

Sharp Shooter Hwa taking aim...

Wah lao...is my turn coming soon? Sian man...

Ah Cai making a mockery of himself, using assist to play pool? OMG!

Sleeping Child

Chalet Day 2

We woke up the next day and we went McDonalds for breakfast. I had a sausage Mac muffin meal and the rest ordered others like pancakes and Big Breakfast. Hhmm…all along, After breakfast, we went to play soccer by the grasses and it rekindled fond memories of us playing soccer together when we are in secondary school. We had great fun and it’s nice to see players like Peiwei and Eric to score goals which you can only dreamt of in your dreams. Hehe… =p

Beautiful East Coast morning

Setting off for Mcdonald Breakfast.

Jin Cai riding a bicycle.

After soccer, we played games like Mahjong, Bluff and Donkey too. I quite like the game Bluff and I’m rather good in it and will have won on few occasions if not for Rufang. Perhaps she’s new to the game and simple minded, she was rather daring and always spolit my plans when the others are wary of my tactics. Haha…stupid Rufang!!

Of course all is not fun but hard work too. We had our time of marinating the chicken wings, setting up of BBQ fire and take turns to do the BBQ. However the most hardworking lads must be the Choon Bros and Rufang. By nightfall, most of our friends came. We had a good chat on how each of us had progress and also the good old times.

The BBQ starts~!~!

Look who's working and who's not...

Shirey and Sook Yin

Teng Loke & Pei Wei

"Jie Mei Huas"

The birthday Bois

Which is Choon Hwa and Choon Keong? Hehe.

There was also this dare between Teng Loke and me on approaching any stranger (gal) and get her number. I’ve forgotten how come we came to this dare but with a strong pride, I bragged and took up the challenge. As Teng Loke and I strolled along the beach finding targets, I felt butterflies in my stomach. Oh my, what dire situation had I got myself into!

Coaxed to take a "gay" picture with Teng Loke before the dare.

Best Friends 4ever~~~

Okay…eventually Teng Loke is the one with bigger guts. He did approach 3 gals and asked the prettiest for her number. The gal rejected him, perhaps it will be a different story if I’m the one who approached the gal? Bah…okay…I admit defeat to him. Haha.

After the BBQ, I wanted to go fishing but none of the lads are interested! Wah sianz….I prepared so many fishing stuffs, now they said they not interested already. There goes my whopper!

Chalet Day 3

Of course it’s Balik Kampong liao ……. =p

Still waiting for Choon Hwa to send me the photos taken during the chalet…grrrr, what’s taking him so long man! Yesterday went Recruit Express again for another show face interview. Really stupid lor, wear long sleeve shirt and pant, travel all the way to Raffles just to have a less than 5 min chat with the Recruitment Consultant.

In the afternoon, I met up with Esther and Lusha for a KTV Session. Yiyang was supposed to join us but she flew us a BIG BIG aeroplane. We went to Paradiz Centre K-Box and the staff gave us a really spacious room. It’s always good to go crooning in weekdays man.

These two 2 gals are of drastic contrast man. Lusha was singing peerlessly and she can almost sing all songs man. Bravo to her….Esther was rather shy and meekly, afraid to sing. There are times when I was singing together with Esther when I purposely stopped singing to let her sing herself. When she realized she was singing alone, she immediately glared at me…and commented singing with me very dangerous. Haha. That was fun man.

We sang from 2pm-6.30pm. Towards the end, the 2 siao char bors even stood on the sofas and sing man. Think they really into a frenzy, too high liao. The 2 gals were also deities man, never ate anything since they woke up. We went for dinner after the KTV and we found a vegetarian eatery which is ironically underneath Sunshine Plaza, where my family condos are.

Never in my life have I seen gals ate so fast lor. The perfect description will be “狼吞虎咽”. Esther even ate 2 bowls of rice. We finished the dinner in no time and then we made our way home. Lalala…..

Took a picture of Esther unaware without using flash.

Get off...you paparazzi!!

Candidates for SUPERSTAR? =X

Looks real appetizing ah?

*Blurp*....

2 siao char bors acting cute....

Luck, opportunity, chance…talking about these elements, they played a major part in our everyday life. How come it a person just seems to enjoy all the luck while another fellow keep on suay (unlucky) Believe it not or, Feng Shui does play a part.

How many people really believe in the power of Feng Shui? It’s the balance of two elements, Yin and Yang. There are five elements to it, Fire, Wood, Water, Earth and Metal. One’s destiny is also influenced by his/her four pillars of Destiny. It’s too much in depth for me to explain but I’ll just like to share a tip of everyone, hope everyone will “Fa Cai” (Get rich)

Display a three legged wealth toad near your main door but remember, it must be facing your main door indirectly. This wealth toad has only three limbs, red fiery eyes and bites an ancient coin in its mouth to attract business sales and improve personal luck. Believe it or not, since I’ve placed it last Friday, my sister struck 3rd prize on Sunday and 2nd prize on Wednesday. My sis jio me buy but i never follow! This weekend must buy 4-D already, cannot afford to let wealth slip away again!

I’m going for a chalet at East Coast for the next 2days, will be back with more pictures and blog entries! Hope I can post the pic of a winning 4-D ticket when I came back. Hehe. =p
